ABOUT THE Bachelor of Performing Arts (Honors)

The Bachelor of Performing Arts (Honors) program is a 4-year undergraduate degree that trains students across the complete performing arts process—from foundational technique and creative interpretation to advanced performance and production. The program emphasizes hands-on training, rehearsals, live performances, and industry-led workshops that build strong artistic, technical, and expressive skills.

AAFT provides professional rehearsal spaces, performance studios, recording facilities, and production support where students develop solo and ensemble performances across diverse musical and performing styles. Industry mentorship, concerts, workshops, and stage showcases offer real-world exposure and professional insight.

The program comprises 160 credits, supporting advanced artistic development and career readiness in music, performance, media, and allied creative fields. The curriculum includes

  • DAW Equipment, Recording Processes, Music Production Software, and Film Audio Production

Assessments

The Bachelor of Performing Arts (Honors) program at AAFT follows a comprehensive assessment system to evaluate students throughout the course. Assessments are designed to nurture both creativity and professional skills. Evaluation includes Internal Assessments (40%) through class tests, assignments, listening exercises, notation work, and viva voce; Practical Examinations (40%) based on stage performances, vocal/instrumental demonstrations, ensemble work, studio recordings, DAW tasks, and improvisation; and End-Semester Theory Exams (20%). Project-based evaluations, external jury reviews in advanced semesters, and a final capstone project ensure academic rigor and industry-aligned skill validation.
