ABOUT THE B.A. (Photography)
The B.A. (Photography) program at AAFT University, Raipur is a 3-year integrated undergraduate degree designed to build professional photographers and visual storytellers. Students learn the complete photography process—from camera techniques and visual composition to digital editing, post-production, and portfolio development—through hands-on studio work, field shoots, and live projects.
With access to professional studios, lighting and camera equipment, editing labs, and industry mentorship, students create commercial, editorial, and artistic photography while gaining real-world exposure. The program offers 120 credits, with an optional 160-credit Honours pathway for advanced specialization.

Assessments
The program follows a Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) model that blends ongoing internal assessment (30%) with end-semester evaluation (70%). Students are assessed through assignments, field projects, peer critiques, quizzes, portfolio submissions, written and practical exams, project reviews, viva-voce and exhibitions.
The evaluation framework emphasizes technical skills, creative originality, conceptual clarity, professionalism and reflective practice, ensuring holistic development in line with university learning outcomes and NAAC quality benchmarks.
