DURATION:  1 YEAR

INTRODUCTION:

This course is for students who have passed 12th with Science/ Math as their subjects. It provides in-depth knowledge of Food Science, Nutrition, Food Packaging, Food preservation, Food processing, manufacturing, storage, Food engineering, food microbiology, etc. It deals with the concepts and applications of various tools & techniques used in the food industry to enhance the shelf-life of a food product.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

The 1 year Diploma in Food Technology course aims to provide detailed knowledge of Food processing & Food preservation. It looks after imparting theoretical & practical knowledge of food science fundamentals and educating about the advance trends & technologies of the Food industry. 

SPECIAL TRAINING/ PROJECT DURING THE COURSE:

Minimum 6 months training in a Food Testing Laboratory/ Food regulatory Government Body (Applicable only for Bachelors/ Masters)
