AAFT has different types of the practical lab to give hands-on experience to its students. We have our own Radio Station, Television Channel (IPTV) and Newsagency. AAFT organizes the Global Festival of Journalism every year through which students get to know the current scenario of journalism and also get a chance to meet international and national journalists/dignitaries during the fest.

  • Students learn to render different scenes and sequences without loss of content. They edit shots for enhancing image quality, sound, lighting, etc. At post-production lab, they learn to weave different shots into a logical & influential movie.

Student Projects

Our curriculum is more practical oriented. As part of the curriculum, students get a chance to create their projects on Print, Electronic, and Digital Media which includes Electronic News Gathering, News Bulleting, Photo Walk, Photo Exhibition, News Paper publication, Documentary and Ad film making, Radio Program and many more.

  • Photo Walk: Photo walking is a group activity of photography students who gather in a group to walk around with a camera for the main purpose of taking pictures of things that interest them.

  • ENG is a broadcast news industry description of television producers, reporters and editors making use of electronic video and audio technologies for gathering & presenting news. Students are provided with both theoretical and practical exposure on ENG tools and techniques.
