What is the duration of the UG Bachelor of Performing Arts program?

The Bachelor of Performing Arts is a 3-year + 1-year (Honors with Research) undergraduate program. The additional fourth year offers advanced specialization, research-based study, extended performance work, and a dissertation, preparing students for higher studies and professional artistic pathways.

The Master of Performing Arts is a 2-year postgraduate program.

The Diploma in Music Production is a 1-year program.

    Students learn advanced performance techniques, research methodology, classical and contemporary repertoire, music analysis, artistic interpretation, composition, and specialization in vocal or instrumental music, supported by intensive practical work.

Students gain foundational skills in vocal and instrumental techniques, music theory, composition, ensemble performance, stagecraft, music appreciation, and practical training through studios, live performances, and collaborative projects.

Students learn music creation, recording, mixing, mastering, sound design, DAW operations, microphones and acoustics, studio workflows, and project-based production techniques

No prior experience is required. The program begins with the basics of audio fundamentals, DAWs, recording techniques, and music theory, enabling beginners to build skills from the ground up
